Recent Artwork
Currently, my work investigates organic forms/nature with bright colors on panel and other unique materials such as animal bones and leather handbags. These recent works stem from imagery photographs during past visits to Mexico City to see my brother. It is important to declare that no animals are ever harmed for the purpose of my artwork. All skulls/bones are sourced carefully.

The Rancher Reunited with his Favorite Bull, 2022, Acrylic on bone, SOLD
This particular piece was done for a theme specific exhibition for K Space Contemporary Gallery called "The Return of the Souls".
I will continue to work on bone because I find it to be aesthetically appeasing due to it's texture and back story. It is a way to appreciate the life and death of these animals.
Detail of Monarch butterflies
Monarch butterflies have Mexican cultural significance. According to traditions, monarchs are believed to be the souls/spirits of our ancestors to return to earth for their yearly visit. All Souls Day is observed on November 2nd.
