Rather than arranging her photographs into a still life, Bracco chooses a more documentary approach; Her process begins photographing piles of scrap metal where workers throughout industrial construction have discarded them. Adding layers of paint and metal artifacts regain textures lost in the photographic process. Bracco also uses ink on the surface of her photographs to reflect the lines of engineering and architectural drafting processes.
